We welcome one night stays on Sunday through Thursday nights.

Please take note:  Due to personal reasons, the Sunset House will close on 10/25/09 for the season, and will not reopen in 2010.

We require a two night minimum stay on weekends.  Any Friday stay requires a Saturday stay, and vice versa.   An exception to this rule may be arranged on Fridays for the upcoming weekend by phone only! Our booking software is not sophisticated enough to prevent an incorrect weekend reservation, but we hope you are!  We reserve the right to cancel any reservation made that does not meet the Friday & Saturday requirement.  You will be notified should that occur. 

Check in is from 4-7 PM.  If you will be arriving after 7:00 please call so we can make arrangements for your arrival.  We work hard to have the Sunset House, grounds, and pool ready for your enjoyment, and it takes every minute we have to do so.  Therefore no early check-ins are available.    Check out time is 11:00. 

We require a Visa or MasterCard deposit of your first nights charges at time of booking.  Cancellations must be made by either phone or email, and confirmation of cancellation received to be valid.  Since it costs us credit card fees to reserve and to cancel and refund, all reservations are subject to a $10.00 per room cancellation fee, unless the reservation is changed to another date.  Changes of reservation dates can be done at no charge.  Cancellations made with less than 14 full days notice prior to arrival date will be charged a fee equal to one night's charges or 50% of the reserved stay, whichever is greater, unless we are able to rebook the room. **Please be aware that if you are reserving a room for the next calendar year, your rate could be higher than quoted.  The confirmtion you receive will be for current year's rates.  We allow early booking as a courtesy, but are not locked into keeping our rates the same forever!  We have no plans for a rate increase for 2010 at this time, but may raise them by as much as 10% depending on costs in some years. 

We love kids and pets, and are sorry that we cannot welcome yours at the Sunset House.  Most of our guests are escaping to wine country for a quiet adult weekend, and we make every effort to keep the Sunset House peaceful for them.  **Families can reserve with kids by phone and only when booking all the rooms. 

** We do all our booking online from this site.  If you prefer, please call us and we can do it for you while you remain on the line.  If you experience any problem while booking please call us at 800-941-2941 for help. 

Enter your requested date(s) and you will be advised which rooms are available at that time, if any.  If the room you request is not available on the date requested, a calendar will appear showing what is available around that date.   We can only accept Visa & Mastercard.  A deposit equal to the first night's stay including lodging taxes will be charged to your credit card.  Please give your cell # so we may reach you, only if needed.  If you've left anything behind after your stay, we can let you know before you're too far down the road.  Please let us know in the "reservation notes" if you are celebrating a special occasion, are using one of our specials, or if you have dietary restrictions.  Please guestimate your arrival time in the notes as well.  Immediately after you book, you will receive an email confirmation, so please check your spam basket if you don't find it in your inbox!   Driving directions and a restaurant guide are on our menu at the left.  Though we're easy to find, and close to town, many a GPS has sent guests on a goose chase in Prosser.  The driving directions are highly recommended. 

Group Reservations- be sure to book rooms individually, or call us to do this for you!  The 5th room is available to groups only.
